Morristown Medical Center Rated #1 in NJ for Patient Safety

We are pleased to announce that ConsumerReports.org, a leader in ratings and rankings which serve to educate and empower consumers to make more informed decisions, has rated Morristown Medical Center the top hospital in New Jersey – and in the NYC Metro area – for overall patient safety. This score is a summary of five categories that relate to hospital safety: avoiding infections, avoiding readmissions, communicating about medications and discharge, appropriate use of chest and abdominal scanning and avoiding medical and surgical mortality.

While we are so proud to be ranked the highest in the state, quality care means we must constantly seek to improve, as we strive to turn our top state rating into a top rating nationwide. Thank you for your constant diligence and dedication to our patients’ safety. You demonstrate your commitment to excellence and PRIDE every day and with every patient and family.
